Asked him to put a zipper on the side of my beloved Allsaints boots because who laces and laces boots anymore. He did an amazing job and the zipper looks like it came with the shoes. Thanks!
Gonzalo is the most legit leather repair specialist in all of NYC. Especially for his price point + fast turn around and quality. Not the mention he is always polite and happy to see returning customers.After the long city shutdown and quarantine, I started to WFH so I didn't need shoes repaired when businesses re-opened. I asked him if he could restore a couple vintage belts and a vintage Coach handbag. They came out LIKE NEW!The commute from Brooklyn is WORTH IT. (Plus it's a great excuse to visit Rose & Joe's Bakery a few blocks down).
I was here twice to fix snaps that break. The ones installed here never broke. My man is also quick, inexpensive and competent. I mean, what else do you really need? There is a slight language barrier buy nothing that you can't work around. It seems like this business has been here a looong time. Which is another good sign.
