OK, I’m not a review person, but I had to write a review for here. I’ve had these boots sitting around for like two years. The bottoms were completely just cracked and falling apart, like literally falling apart as I would walk little black pieces of the shoe would fall off. I brought it to two other shoe repairs. One person told me it’d be a minimum of $90 to fix them, but he wasn’t even sure and then the other guy just gave them back to me and said he could not fix them.
I happen to be driving around in Astoria and saw this shoe repair store and saw all his positive reviews and so I brought my shoes to him. He told me he can fix them for $45 no problem....read full review
I've brought this man everything from nearly-destroyed leather dance shoes (LaDucas) to broken backpack straps to ripped jeans to shoes that needed to be dyed a completely different color. He's an absolute magician with prices out of a 1990s time capsule. Everything he touches is like new again, or better. I don't understand.
I brought in a backpack to be repaired. I was greeted by the friendly owner and he did a great job patching up the holes in my canvas backpack. Its a bag I've used for over 10 years and was given to me by my grandfather, so I really appreciated it.
Highly recommend this place.
