We recently purchased a house in queens built in 1920 that still had original hardwood floors. The floors were a major reason why we bought the house but I was really nervous about the condition of our floors as they were scratched up by the previous owner's dog and generally not cared for. The floor guys, specifically the owner assured me that they were not as bad as I thought and walked me through the whole process from exactly how the work would be conducted, what products would be used, and the best way to preserve and care for them after. He is so passionate about his work and patient with the process. They take great care with what they do and their attention to detail shows! Let me just say that their work exceeded any expectations I had for what the floors would look like after they were done. They look brand new! They finished the whole house (first Floor, second floor, stair case, and even surprised me by saving my banister in a day and a half! The crew worked hard and were super neat, efficient, and all around great! In addition to having like new 1920 floors, their pricing is more than reasonable.
