I’ve been to NY Pain Medicine several times. Each time I was greeted by a lovely office manager, Caroline. Dr. Allen has helped me immensely after 2 spinal surgeries with different procedures. Peter, the acupuncturist, is also a great help. I’ve had a few sessions and it has helped in relieving muscle spasms & pain in my thoracic area. Highly recommend this office to anyone that is seeking pain relief.

New York Pain is excellent. Dr. Allen and his Staff are caring and Professional. I am having Massage Therapy and Acupuncture. Peter Tricarico is a excellent Acupuncturist. He explains everything and makes you comfortableRebecca , the massage Therapist is great also. I feel like a different person when I leave there.

Dr. Alan‘s office is one of the most professional medical practices have been to. The check in process was easy. I did not have to wait at all. The consultation was top-notch. Dr. Alan gave me as much time as I needed. I have been struggling with a lot of pain and he was patient with me and very helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend his practice to everyone. Dr Douglas Allen A year and a half ago I had a bad episode of herniated L5 S1discs in my back. I could not move for couple of weeks and remained physically incapacitated for a few months. The pain was unbearable and it took a long time to get rid off. But gradually I regained my strength despite of a few relapses along the way and only now, almost two years after the initial episode I feel like I'm back to myself. And with no surgery! I have many people to thank for that but I definitely owe most of my successful recovery to Dr. Douglas Allen and his staff. Dr Allen gave me three stereoid shots during this period. Apart from being an excellent professional Dr. Allen is a real mensch! Which makes him absolutely a great doctor, When you are in this helpless situation you need attention and care, understanding, patience and empathy. Dr Allen was always available to hear me out and always gave me the right advice! He supported and encouraged me to avoid surgical procedures consistently and recommended rigorous physical therapy program that is offered in his office. Dr Allen's office offers an excellent physical therapy practice that is adjunct to his office. The therapists work with him coordinating and adjusting the treatment according to his recommendations. For the last three months I've been taking pt sessions with an excellent physical therapist there, Dominic Farnan, who really made the difference I was longing for. An excellent therapist, Dominic not only diagnosed immediately the main problematic issue to focus and work on but also knew how to listen, devoting absolute attention to every detail in my progress, making the necessary adjustments along the way. The sessions are intense one on one work and are absolutely unique in that! I understand that apart from physical therapy the office provides also massage therapy as well as acupuncture, All of which are coordinated and supervised by Dr. Allen and applied in accordance with all caretakers. This kind of holistic approach that Dr Allen provides; combining medical procedures with other therapeutic approaches while keeping all sides well informed along the way is the key for a successful recovery. Last but not least are the office workers and coordinators who were a pleasure to deal with ; it is the nicest, most caring and accommodating staff! I have no words to thank Dr Allen for my recovery ! And I highly recommend Dr Allen's practice! Highly!

I am pleased to have chosen this place to receive my treatments, and would highly recommend it to anyone. Not only are the staff highly trained and very knowledgeable, but most importantly they really care about my wellbeing and improvement.
