I recently had the privilege to work with Ericka Hinton on two different unfortunate events. I lost my grandmother in January of 2026 & recently in April 2026 i lost my grandfather. My family & i were so pleased of how Ericka & J Foster Phillips Funeral Home handled everything with my grandmothers funeral we decided to come back a second time. Everything was very clear & they walked us thru the entire process. I would recommend J Foster Phillips to anyone going thru these unfortunate circumstances.
J Foster Phillips Funeral Home was very attentive to all of my family's needs during our difficult time. My mother and I had no idea how to begin navigating through this process. I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Funeral Director Ericka Hinton who was truly amazing to us. She is compassionate, very professional and did a wonderful job explaining the entire service and procedures. She was patient, understanding and made our experience as stress free as possible which was comforting to us. Overall, the entire staff was very helpful and kind to my family. I highly recommend this funeral home.
I cannot say enough about the care and professionalism we received from Ericka Hinton and Jehu Saunders at J. Foster Phillips during such a difficult time. They stepped in at the last minute when another funeral home failed to pick up my mother, and from that moment on, they handled everything with compassion, urgency, and respect.
They were incredibly accommodating with several last-minute changes and made a very stressful situation feel manageable. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care for our family did not go unnoticed.
