He's the BEST vet you could ever ask for. He's caring, informative, kind, gentle, understanding, I could go on and on raving about him. I literally tell EVERYONE about him. He has the best bed side manners even our small, anxious Penelope is always less tense. He understands them, and is never too pushy. I love that he's an integrative vet, he's never forced any unnecessary treatments, meds and/or vaxx. And he's always teaching us something new about dogs every time we go visit! First of all, I wouldn't even listen to that bad review because that account only has three posts in its history and every review from the account is a one star basically saying the same things. I had been looking for a vet for a long time for my dog after trying a couple of places in Queens, and was referred to Dr. Haimann by a friend. He is a holistic vet, however he is not like some kind of woo scammer that you hear about that claim essential oils could cure cancer; He is actually a medical doctor and will do diagnostics and workups like he did for my dog and makes medication recommendations. Dr. Haimann is never available and hardly returns phone calls. He also promises a lot but does not do much for your pet. He has in addition an awful personality. He is very impatient and screams when asked questions. He does not show any empathy like a true holistic doctor would. He did not show me anything new. His tests are overpriced. It's a complete waste of money.
