I went in for a kitchen finger cut injury yesterday, they were able to see me super quickly, and Dr. Mercedes Cardenas Pena was super attentive and meticulous when applying anesthesia and stitching me up! I rarely have good medical experiences, but I felt that the Doctor really made sure that my anesthesia was working properly
My situation (an EKG to establish a baseline) didn't require a high level of medical knowledge. And it was a Friday after 7pm, which is a terrible time to go to an ER. CityMD was able to provide the service I needed without the grief - and almost certain long wait time - I would have expected at a hospital. That being said, if I had a more dire medical situation, I would not go to an urgent care facility as a substitute for a more fully staffed ER that would also likely have far more diagnostic devices available. The clinic was bright and clean and I was welcomed and given good care. I was delighted and will return there; I am also recommending it broadly to friends and neighbors. This is what health care should look and feel like.
