My first cut with her revived my curls and I don't dread washing my hair because of my tangles anymore. Later, I was feeling like I needed a little more volume and she truly delivered with small adjustments. You can tell her mind is seeing the vision before she even cuts your hair. “Today, 8/10/25 is my second time at Areya. My first time was 1/26/25. Regina, was personable and friendly as always. She, being a colorist among other things, took the time to explain why some colors would work and others, not so much. Went there today for a haircut and dye. I told her what I wanted and she delivered. Elena (sorry if I misspelled) did my hair from start to finish. I was there for a total of approximately 3 hours. They both made sure the color was even (and corrected when it wasn't) and what made it more special was that the color had different tones under various lighting. I was treated like a princess. Accommodating men, women and children with a large choice of stylists both male and female. Relaxing atmosphere, good music that isn’t loud or obtrusive, friendly staff and talented stylists. Owner Larry has cut my hair for over ten years and I’ve never had a complaint but see for yourself and make an appointment. Metered and unmetered parking is available in the area with a bagel shop, a falafel restaurant and other shopping opportunities nearby. Choosing a new stylist can be tricky but if you speak with Larry he will direct you to the best stylist for your needs. Highly recommend.“

He listened carefully and gave me exactly what I asked for and even styled it for no additional fee.
