Its approach is comprehensive: 100 % supervised, full-body regimens with personalized modifications and progress tracking. I've tried different systems for strength-training in gyms and on my own, but none gave me the results I've seen and felt in the past year. I am the most physically fit I've been in my life, and I relish the boost in my mental and emotional health from every session. Plus, I've never experienced difficulty finding or rescheduling sessions to work for me, so I've found it easy to keep the habit going.
The community is unexpectedly wonderful as well. I enjoy the intergenerational semi-private group sessions and the relationships I build with other members. The spirit created is non-competitive, calm, friendly, and light-hearted. There's no intimidation.
Edward, Giancarlo, and Felice are fantastic trainers. I feel amazed that I continue to learn something new about a workout, strategy, machine, muscle function, etc. at every single session. These three know their subject. They are kind, patient, and engaging with me and other members across gender identities, ages, and other demographics.
I finished my rehabilitation in 2025. But, I continue my membership at Strength for Life and highly recommend them. Sure, I benefit from addressing issues that arise in other body parts. But more importantly, the program excels at meeting my weekly strength-training needs and giving me the other outcomes I detail above.

“First off, this is a gym and not a health club. People go there to train, not flirt. There are no locker rooms, no showers. There's barely a coat rack. There is a tanning bed, but I doubt it ever gets used. DF has every conceivable machine, bar, bench, or cardio you could possibly want or need. Some of it is worn from constant use, but everything is clean and in good condition. Every last client, from the biggest bodybuilder to the 70 year woman trying to just stay fit, is pleasant and friendly. Looking for a 'no judgement zone?' This is it. Whether you are a hard core power lifter or just someone trying to stay reasonably fit, this place will answer every need you have. To me, DF is perfect.“
