My oldest was a student at Kwon’s Karate back in 2021, so we were so excited when they opened in Great Neck. We absolutely love Coach Joe. He is warm, helpful, and creates such a positive environment while still keeping the discipline and structure that karate is all about. Both of my girls love coming every week, and we’re so grateful to have Kwon’s Karate in the neighborhood!

My 5 year son has only been here for two months, but the change has been incredible. In the beginning, he would say “no” to everything and we were honestly very concerned. Now Taekwondo is the highlight of his week and he’s even asking to play soccer because he’s discovered how much he enjoys sports. We are so grateful to Master Kwon and all the coaches for helping him build confidence, discipline and a love for being active. Thank you for making such a positive impact on my son! ❤

We have been going to Kwon’s in Roslyn for a couple of years now and even though Great Neck is littered with martial arts schools, we chose to trek out to Kwon’s in Roslyn because of Master DK’s teaching style on positive reinforcement, attention to focus and details, and most importantly, challenging kids to push beyond their limits and understanding what true grit is. Now that Kwon’s opened a studio in Great Neck, that dreaded 40 min drive in rush hour traffic from GN to Roslyn has been trimmed to a 10 min drive with intimate smaller class sizes. Coach Joe is amazing with kids and both of my children look forward to going to their weekly taekwondo class.

Master Eric and his team hosted a session for my Girl Scout troop, and it was wonderful. He was patient, kind, and did an excellent job teaching the girls skills in coordination, confidence, and respect.
He generously offered the class free of charge and it was a special experience for the girls.
I’ve also sent my kids to his day camps, and they always come home flushed, tired, and having had a blast.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, engaging, and meaningful activity for their kids!

So happy I found this spot. We were referred by a friend both received an Amazon gift card after we signed up. Teachers have a great attitude, are focused, kind and very encouraging. The studio is inclusive and my daughter loves it and is thriving here.
