“The entire Valley Vet team is kind and loving and our pets do very well there, despite an anxiety issue with our lab. (Which has improved over time). Their location is convenient, easy accessibility (for pets and humans); and clean. Our boys are greeted and affectionately called by name upon arrival and receive verbal communication through out the visits. Valley Vet doctors are knowledgeable and communicative with clients, explaining at each visit any changes and are open to questions. Reception and assistants are all pleasant and animal lovers too! We appreciate all they do for our boys and that they demonstrate how much they care by going the extra steps to ensure quality care.“

“On December 4th 2025 I had to bring my cat in for an emergency appointment that ended up resulting in her needing to be euthanized. Something I never imagined having to do. She came in, in very fragile condition. Dr Mintzer was very honest patient and compassionate with me, and laid all the options out on the table clearly with realistic expectations. I never believed in euthanasia, but when I asked him if he believed it was the best thing for her his answer was said with such certainty that I was able to put aside my personal feelings to make the right choice for her.

Words can not express the grief, guilt, and the loss that I have felt with her passing, but they can explain how truly compassionate, knowledgeable and just all around good dr he is.
