Brought my two Akitas here for the first time and had a great experience. The medical staff and veterinarian (Dr. John) were very professional and provided great care for my dogs. I needed many things completed to get there standard health items updated, as well as have my male neutered and other issues resolved. To that end, everything was handled in one day and my male healed much quicker than expected as a result of the high quality surgery completed. This is where I’ll be taking my dogs moving forward!

The team at Poughkeepsie Animal Wellness is elite. Our pup suffered an injury while we were away and by happenstance was brought to P.A.W.S. We made very regular visits to the office over the course of three months, dealt with almost every single team member and were beyond happy with the treatment and level of service that was always provided to us during a stressful time. The team here went above and beyond to not only treat him but to love him like he was their own and to do right by him. I'm very pleased with the doctors and staff at Poughkeepsie Animal Wellness in Poughkeepsie. I was a client at Compassion Veterinary with Dr. Schwartz for over 35 years in the same location so when he retired last year, I was apprehensive of the change. I have been very happy with both Dr. Orban and Dr. Johns. They are both very caring physicians who take the time to address your concerns. The staff is wonderful, also. I can't say enough good things about them. I'm really glad I stayed.
