About Gary & Aileen's Hairstyling
Gary & Aileen's Hairstyling offers a mixed experience for customers seeking haircuts. While some clients appreciate the availability of walk-in services and find the staff friendly, others have reported inconsistency in the quality of haircuts and issues with the posted hours. Parents bringing their children for haircuts have noted varying levels of competence among the stylists, leading to disappointment despite the higher prices. Additionally, there have been concerns about a tense atmosphere in the salon, indicating potential management issues. Overall, customers may want to approach the salon with moderate expectations, hoping for a good haircut but prepared for possible inconsistencies.
Amazing haircut as a walk in!
Mollie, you rock! In town for my weekly visit with my son at St. Lawrence Psychiatric.
Tired of being turned away from the mall near home. Champlain Center!
Took a shot!! Scored! My NEW hair dresser!! BEFORE (way over due) and after in the picks!
i’ve lived here for three going on four years, and at first I was excited to have this place available for walk-ins. Unfortunately, over the years, I’ve been disappointed a few different times, mainly just by the quality of the stylist. I’ve had good cuts, and bad cuts; what happened tonight was for some reason the shop shut down a few minutes early, and I guess they haven't updated the posted hours on their door for more than 12 months? So you can’t trust the quality of the stylist, and you can’t trust the hours they have posted on their door. Beyond that it’s a fine establishment.
I brought my 7 and 4 year old boys in for a hair cut. One of the women seemed competent enough, but the other required an enormous amount of direction for what I considered to be a rather straight forward task. Price was on the high end, but if I had received good haircuts for my boys, then I wouldn't have minded. Overall, they were friendly enough, and maybe I caught them on an off day. I am willing to give them one more try, but I wouldn't go in with anything overly complicated.
