Great place to learn a mix of practical self defense and traditional martial arts, I did taekwondo but instructors incorporating Sambo techniques and knife/gun self defense was great aswell.

I have been attending Sambo classes about 2.5 years now. I came in with absolutely no previous grappling experience. Over these two years I have gained much confidence in myself through this program. It teaches you practical self defense while also gives you the freedom to develop a strong grappling skill set with where your strengths lie. Sambo instructor Prescott does a great job explaining the techniques and takes the time to make sure you understand what is going on every class, he really cares and attends to his students. We could not be happier with the level of professionalism, skill, discipline, respect, kindness & humor from both the owner, as well as the instructors. The staff provide quality lessons using an impressive mix of skilled training instruction, authoritative discipline, and seemingly endless patience. They establish clear expectations of work ethic/effort, focus, and mutual respect, while maintaining an atmosphere that's fun where kids can still be kids. We continue to be amazed at how quickly our children have improved in a relatively short amount of time & how much they truly enjoy participating.
