Zena African Hair Braiding offers amazing service with amazing prices and amazing work. The shop is clean and smells good, with kind and polite staff. Customers receive fast service, often finishing in 3 hours or less for styles like long boho braids, half braids with knotless, and below waist length knotless braids with boho curls. The parting is everything, and braids look professionally done. Some customers waited 1.5 hours despite an appointment, but note that taking time ensures neat, consistent results. The shop also does very well with children’s hair, tending to them with care and grace. Hair is provided, making it convenient. Customers have traveled on almost four hour flights to return for the fastest, neatest hair braiding experience.
I just wanted to leave a review and tell everyone how amazing these ladies are!!! They have amazing prices and their work is amazing also!! Everyone was so kind and polite!! I was in & out really fast. I will be back soon!! 10/10 highly recommend!! Aunty have some nice people in her shop its also CLEAN & smells good!
I enjoyed my experience overall. I give 4 stars because I had to wait 1.5 hrs for service although I made an appointment beforehand. I opted for small knotless braids (waist length) and it took about 6 hours. The woman who did my hair took her time, was fairly gentle with my hair, and my braids look amazing and professionally done. Some other people in the shop work faster, sure, yet their braids were inconsistent. I’ve seen TikTok influencers boast about getting their hair done at Zena’s in under 4 hours, yet if you want it don’t right it’s ok to clear your day for yourself lol.
