I went to Yoshi for a Japanese hair straightening treatment and had a really good experience. Initially, I had a hard time finding stylists that I would've felt comfortable doing this treatment on my curly/afro hair, so when seeing other curly haired clients in the reviews here, I booked immediately.
The whole treatment took 4 hours for my thick, dense, a little below shoulder length hair and he handled my hair gently, expertly and had no difficulty with it while treating it. There was no ripping, hair pulling, etc which was a relief (as you know can be a problem with some stylists) and my hair came out great. I got a japanese hair straightening treatment here and it was excellent! My hair has never looked better and I don’t have to worry about damaging it with heat styling anymore!
