Vardit is a highly talented hairstylist who always listens to my needs and makes me love myself more after she works on my hair. She is a cultured woman who knows many people in the music world, and she is always fun to talk to (even about restaurants!). The prices Vardit charges for color and a haircut are very fair. I also appreciate that she always tries to fit me in, even when I contact her at the last minute. Her workspace is small, but she does an excellent job.
Vardit cuts, she colors, she shmoozes--and she's better at all of them than anyone I've ever been to. The first time I went to her, we went to the Duane Reade around the corner because I wasn't happy with my color, and she thought we could find a better color. And she did!. Some people have the kind of terrific and thick hair which would look great even if it was cut with a lawnmower. Not me. It's thin with a mind of its own when it comes to cowlicks. But Vardit gives me a terrific and flattering cut every single time.
