I've been going to what is now Tuft for over 10 years. Tuft is, without question, the best barbershop downtown. The service and atmosphere are excellent, and the people are even better. If you're looking for cost-cutters or a shop that only views you as another head of hair, this isn't for you.
My favorite barbershop in the city. Luis has been cutting my hair for as long as I can remember, and I'm not going to change any time soon. The space is beautiful - always clean, great furniture and interior design, McIntosh soundsystem and Ojas speakers playing great music. The barbers are all professional and cool. I look forward to every haircut I get here. Highly recommend.
Hair type: I have men's hair that is on the shorter side. I get it shaped up on the sides and cleaned up on top.
I would most definitely recommend this shop to anybody (Black, white, Spanish etc.) I had the pleasure to get a cut from miles (cool chill dude with a lot of info when it comes to cutting hair) after having the same barber for 10+ years. This can be a very awkward situation because I'm used to someone that know what to do without asking, but I told miles exactly what cut I wanted and he did that and elevated it to another level. The atmosphere in Tuft is one of a kind giving you that barbershop feel you look for. I've seen a lot of shitty review and complaints about the price/service but I can say they're giving you great customer service and that cost. I Will definitely be returning and becoming a new monthly customer. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF SOME PEOPLE JUST LOVE TO H8.
