I’ve been coming here for years, but after today, I won’t be back.

I brought in two items for zipper repairs and was quoted $20 for one and $50 for the other. I politely said I’d just move forward with the $20 repair and take the other elsewhere, and the owner immediately got irritated and told me to take both items somewhere else.

Completely unprofessional and a disappointing way to treat a long-time customer. Definitely not a place that values customer service.

Been going to this dry cleaning outpost since they opened but sadly, I’m done with them. This was the last straw. I asked the tailor to fix a partial bottom hem on a dress. He seems to just arbitrarily give prices. He was going to charge me $25 and when I hesitated, then he marked it down to $20, then $18. The whole time, he and the teller were emphasizing how difficult of a stitch it was - basically it had to be done by hand.

Honestly, it’s a straight maybe 12 inch hem at the bottom of a cotton dress. Sure, you’re the expert. Whatever. Finally, after being charged for $18 on my credit card, then he further reduces it to $15.

Went to location at 816 2nd Ave. The tailor should be fired immediately. I had a suit altered and delivered to my apartment and should have tried it on before the wedding, was charged for a bunch of alterations including bringing up the sleeves of my suit coat an inch. It was not done. I was very relaxed and went in asking for the alteration to be complete as the nice woman at the front desk said I was charged for the sleeve alteration. The tailor came and started yelling saying I had to still pay $70 as I came back more than a month later, even after admitting that he never touched the sleeves (which the woman at the front desk confirmed I paid for).
