Speedy Lock & Door is that increasingly rare commodity in NYC, a small business whose owner treats everyone who walks in or calls like a neighbor. Every time I’ve been inside the small shop, I get friendly service and, once, I called ready to bite the bullet and replace a stiff lock when owner, Steven Marcus, advised that a that a bit of lubricating oil would do the trick. It worked--and Steven saved me $300.00.So, I shouldn’t have been surprised when I dialed Speedy after being locked out of my apartment the other night, to get Seven himself on the phone. These guys are great. I live down the street, moved into a brand new apartment with a malfunctioning lock, and they helped me fix it over the phone. Definitely keeping them on speed dial for any future needs! Thanks Speedy!
