She is very kind. Clean space. 1 client at a time in the room. She spends the first couple hours designing and talking to you, and the tattoo itself was about 4in and took about 2 hours. She is incredibly talented and passionate about what she does. The address on google is incorrect - make sure to check email for address. It was a lovely and cathartic experience, and I got a meaningful and lovely piece - but looking back, I would have established rate prior to design period. Or even before paying the deposit. There are other tattoos and then there’s a Sarah Gaugler tattoo. I have a few other tattoos from before and I was looking for the perfect artist to do this special tattoo for me. Once I found Sarah, I can never go anywhere else. From now on my tattoos are now custom designed in Sarah’s style. I wanted my experience to be meaningful, special and genuine - especially that it is permanent on my body, and the studio provided just that.The studio charges per design, instead of per hour which I appreciate because I did not feel rushed for my session, and I did not feel like the artist was taking longer than needed for my tattoo. Sarah is amazing. Not only is she a beautiful person, her studio is so warm, inviting and calming. It is really a place of peace. She puts all her energy into your tattoo and really takes the time to get to know you, your story and what you are looking for. You are not rushed at all. She has such beautiful books and artwork to look at as well while you are there. Could not have asked for a better experience. Best fine line artist I’ve seen.
