Really incredible detailed work on the 3 evening gowns I had tailored. They were also very accommodating of my rushed schedule for one of the dresses that I needed for a wedding that weekend.
It wasn't until after I left NYC that I realized how talented the tailor here is. I am tall 5'10 and often need length added. I was able to find a matching fabric to my garment and the tailor would lengthen the sleeves seamlessly, undetectable work! I tried to do the same thing at another place and end up with a frankenstein dress.
I had a recent eBay purchase nightmare where I paid a lot of money for a new/with tags high-end winter coat. When I received the coat, the lining was sewn in with a 180 degree twist and I was unable to get my arm through the sleeves. The coat was sold-out everywhere, even online and eBay seller was going against their own return policy. As a last resort I decided to accept a partial refund and get the coat tailored. This group did a phenomenal job with the complex lining and did the alter in less than 24 hours! Excellent, fair price too. Definitely recommend.
