Funny to have two reviews from Californians for a place on Broadway in Washington Heights, but my kids and I were planning on visiting the Cloisters and then walking to Grant's Tomb. My son, 20 yo needed a haircut so I looked online and Romulo was one of two places that seemed to welcome walk-ins and since I didn't know when we would make it there I didn't want to make an appt. When we arrived he was seated right away and got an awesome haircut at a very reasonable price. I'm sorry, he didn't get the name of his barber but said barber took great care to make sure my son looked good!
I been going here for 2 years since I've moved from LA to NYC and this barber shop is hands down the best shop I've ever been to in my life. As someone who's very particular about their haircut, I've struggled finding a barber to cut my hair but honestly the brothers at this shop make me feel like family and I've become hella close w them. Delvis been cuttin up my hair for awhile now and I never cheat on him. He always knows how I like my haircut and his brother too. They're honestly great company, great people and hella fun to be around. I don't know what I'd do without them. They fasho make getting a haircut one of the best experiences. If y'all looking for a barber, go to this shop. They'll hook you up. I'd literally never go anywhere else and im hella particular w my haircuts.
