Chie is an expert at cutting hair. She has a good sense of what styles will work with your hair texture. She is super chill, detailed and a perfectionist. I get so many compliments on my hair. Our whole family is won over and goes to her now :)

I've known Chie since K2 salon. They have always been polite and more than welcoming. It's easy enough to set up an appointment since majority of hairstylist don't take walk ins due to covid. Enjoyable atmosphere which doesn't feel as hectic as majority of big salons and feels more personal. Always happy to come back.

Chie has been my hairdresser for many years and I was happy to follow her to her beautiful and conveniently-located salon in the East Village (try the coffee and empanadas at Southern Cross next door). She is really an artist that is able to cut and style many different types of hair. I can say this because I have friends that also go to her for cuts and color. She is absolutely meticulous and listens to your preferences before cutting your hair. A relaxing wash and conditioning is followed by a careful hair cut, followed by drying and her careful checking and adjustment of the cut. Then a lovely Shiatsu massage.
