It was my first time coming to Rename I got a haircut with Ans, and he did an amazing job!! I really appreciated the attention to detail and care that went into every step. I found Louis about a year ago after my sister recommended him, and after seeing how great her hair looked, I decided to give him a try myself. I’ve now seen him twice, and both experiences have been consistently great.
I have straight, dark brown, medium-length hair, and I usually ask for layers and long bangs to frame my face. Louis does a really good job understanding what I’m looking for and making the cut work with my hair. I also really appreciate how timely he is — my appointment usually takes about 45–60 minutes, including the wash, without feeling rushed.

I had Louis cut my hair and he did an amazing job. I asked to get a refresh on my layers and to trim my bangs, and showed him reference photos. He really nailed it, and the cut was done so beautifully. The layers lay and blend so effortlessly even when my hair isn’t styled. Louis also was good at communicating what would flatter my face shape for my bangs and face framing pieces.
