He has the vision of an architect. He opened up the apartment, by removing unnecessary small walls and widened doorways and passage ways. My bathroom is like a spa. The stall shower is no more a stall, but a glass enclosed wet room. So while he updated for modern day convenience, he retained old-world details, like the original tub which was made to look new. The apartment tended to be dark, but with all the opened spaces it is now lighter and brighter. My kitchen is a dream, my floors are gorgeous, and even the closet where he installed my washer/dryer is somehow more roomy than before it had a washer/dryer inside it.“

It's a real ambiguous area and this company was knowledgeable. But what really motivated me to write this is what happened after calling: turns out, my residential project was exempt from weekly inspections. Many inspection companies would be unscrupulous and withhold that info, but David Brinkman at Built Engineers helped me figure out I was exempt. “The best, most honest, courteous, and polite plumbers you will find. We've used them a number of times and they are always super neat (they've asked to use the vacuum to make sure the area was clean) and dedicated.
A vanity wouldn't fit neatly because of the way a different plumber placed a pipe and the MacFelder plumber was determined to make it look right, even though it took a considerable amount of work on the vanity itself, he wanted it to look neat and fit properly, which the other company could not have cared less about. They just shrugged.
Today, I had an issue I thought needed a plumber, but I called and Randy spent time asking what was going on, explained how the plumbing worked and talked me through a 2-minute fix. He could have said they needed to send someone, and many plumbers would, but MacFelder is honest. Absolutely the best.“
