Best barber place in East Village by far. As a guy, getting haircuts at random places is nerve wracking but now I look forward to it since Eugene gives me the freshest cuts of my life. Been going there for the last 1 whole year. Eugene is great at what he does and the classic rock music playing in the back only elevates the vibe. Cost friendly too. Couldn’t recommend enough.

'Welcome to Summer'Tucked away in the heart of Ukrainian Village, Manhattan, this hidden gem provided one of the top 3 haircut experiences I've had in my life thus far. The first thing to note is they're cash only (typical of most small barbershops in NYC), so there's an ATM directly outside if you didn't come prepared like me!Walking into the shop, you're met with a long bench to the right – it's the waiting area. There are 3 barbers in total at any given time. Walk-ins are welcome, so you don't have to worry about making appointments ahead of time and then freaking out on the MTA on your way over wondering if you'll make it. It's okay! Great place for a haircut. When I went in, it looked like Eric and Eugene were each finishing up a haircut, so I thought they would be done in 30 seconds. However, I then saw a masterclass in detail, as they took the time to blend in between layers, bit by bit. I then got my hair cut, and was very pleased with the result, and it was well priced compared to other barbers that I saw ($25 a cut, at the time of writing).
