“Dr. Shoshany - I had him for 5 (maybe 6?) sessions and I felt incredible after each time. I was also being more health conscious by exercising more and improving my posture. He had shown that my head tilted forward too much which strains the back muscles. Little things like that led to his fantastic adjustments with the “Ring Dinger”. The manicure lasts a month. No chipping. No hang nails and no cracking. Yes, it's a bit pricy. ($) but it's worth it. “I had a great experience. I don't get massages often, but I had been traveling and needed a massage to get the kinks out of my back. Thai Senses was just down the street from my hotel so it was very convenient. I was able to book a massage online through their website. I don't know all the various styles of massage, but the descriptions on the website steered me to a Thai-Yoga combo massage. Booking was easy, but right after they called and asked if I could move up a half hour earlier to accommodate their schedule. Wasn't a problem for me so I agreed. The spa is in a little high-rise building sandwiched between taller ones. I walked right past it, but then I saw the address numbers and walked back, counting down, and there it was. Inside was a little hallway with a security guard in front of the elevator (made me think of the Men In Black movie!). He was friendly, asked if I had an appointment, and then made me sign an In/Out list with my name and where I was going. Not a problem, I understand the need for security. When I got up to the spa, they were already expecting me. The staff were professional and courteous. I left my shoes at the door and was shown into a room right away. The room was warm with quiet music playing. It was clean and smelled nice. The therapist did a wonderful job with my massage. Ask for Mona - she was fantastic! It was over all too soon - I got an hour, but I should have scheduled a longer one. I can't speak to how their prices compare with other spas, but I was very satisfied with what I paid for the massage I got. They hit me up for the gratuity on my way out the door. I rode the elevator back down, signed out of the guard's log book, and I was back out on the street. A very positive experience overall. I was just passing through so I may never return, but if I am ever in NYC again I would not hesitate to go back.“
