If I can give this place a NO star I would.
starters: they switched my tech after starting because another high paying client wanted to get serviced then & with her, MIND YOU i booked this appointment.
I went in for regular mani & pedi to test it out in the neighborhood, I had to pay before my service was completed & very pushy about tip when my service WAS NEVER started.
bunch of hidden fees. $10 to remove gel from previous set, $15 to remove callus, $10 nail change. I ended up paying around close to $90 with tip. keep in mind there’s NO gel involved 5 minutes later half of my nails were destroyed & they didn’t want to retouch them without...read full review
I just moved to nyc and go to the salon next door to this place for my hair and got curious, decided to give it a chance. One of the biggest mistakes EVER. This has been the worse experience and service I’ve ever had in my entire 31 years of living. What they call a pedicure is something my 5 year old niece can do. Not only do they do a terrible job with nails but they treat you horribly if you dont have blonde hair and blue eyes. And they do not try to hide it. I honestly, almost feel traumatized, it’s an odd feeling but it makes me angry that not only did I have to spend $68 (price list said $38) for this, but I had to give it to people like them?? Me and my friend went here for a pedicure and as soon as we walked n the door we began to expierence micro aggression immediately. They began speaking in their language … and looking at us when we took off our shoes . At first we ignored thinking @ must not be real “ but boy was I wrong . If you are a white women or man … you might have a great experience …. If you’re black or Hispanic … the experience will be different … believe me. Before you pass this review do a deep dive yourself and you will see the positive reviews are from white people and negative reviews are from black or Hispanic people… this is not a coincidence .
