The absolute best place in Washington Heights. I have been to hundreds of barbershops and what makes this place different is they know how to style your hair not just cut it like other barbers and i took up hairstyling and know the difference between a good barber and a great hairstyle. I prefer the latter. The lady styles my hair and i have no complaints. This place is small but good. Not at all like a big barbershop with 15 barbers and nobody knows how to give a good cut. I've been getting my haircuts from Jose Luis since he took over the shop over ten years ago. He gave a great haircut when he started, and he has become even better over time. Always friendly with good conversation, and he gets to know his customers and is very accommodating. He's the best! Though walk-ins are welcome, if you want to make sure he's available it does help to schedule an appointment.

I always get my haircut and beard trim with Jose Luis. His cuts are always on point and the service is top notch. Jose Luis and I talk about movies abd tv shows while he cuts my hair and it makes the time pass by quick and fun every time. I absolutely recommend Hill Cuts Barber Shop.
