Buying glasses is a personal experience — more than I realized. I bought a pair of glasses at Henry Miller and was so pleased with them that I immediately decided to also buy sunglasses. Why buy them there? Because they have a wide selection, perfect professional judgment and behavior (knowing when to let you be alone and think), have impeccable taste, and make practical suggestions while being friendly. And because they were attentive to what I wanted, and then gave me some options a bit different than I had planned so that I came home with two pairs of glasses feeling much happier than I had expected.

Stopped in to have a pair of sunglasses repaired (that I hadn’t purchased from them), and they couldn’t have been nicer. I walked out wearing my repaired sunglasses in less than 10 minutes. The perfect neighborhood shop. Thank you! 🙂

I’ve been using them for 25 years. I recently sent my wife there and she’s a fan now too. It seems many of their customers are lifers and I know why. They carry an extensive range of frames (surprising for the size of the place) with a lot of interesting and unusual styles and standard stuff as well. I find their prices reasonable for the quality (you get what you pay for, etc). As far as lenses, they always nail it the first time because they take their time while you’re in the store to make sure you’re getting what you need.
