Harlem Masters Barbershop is a highly reputable and professionally managed hair care establishment in New York City. The staff are super professional, and the space is extremely comfortable, with arm chairs as the waiting area. The master barber, Polo Greene, provides excellent haircuts at reasonable prices, catering to all hair types.

I would ignore the 1 star reviews as those are posted out of spite. When I first moved to NYC 4 years ago I went to a Korean barber who almost permanently messed up my hairline. Through some research I found Harlem Masters Barbershop, and I've been getting my haircut from Mr. Green ever since. For any men (especially Black men) it's important to find a consistent barber that does an exceptional job, and that's the exact quality I get from here. If I'm in a hurry and I can't wait a day I'll get my cut from Clarence, and he does alright, but mainly Mr. Green provides the quality service. He could use more quality personnel, which he is looking to attain.
