Great animal hospital. Excellent doctors and care. 1 star gets deducted for the groomer Nelson, I wrote on the form Don’t trim his tail hair and I told him verbally not to touch his tail but needs a short cut all over. On top of this, he added $15 for Chewy being “difficult”. Lucky for me his hair grows out thick and fast- his tail is long and flowing because he’s a SHIH TZU!!! Shame on him for not following directions!Edit on 1/24/24I received a lovely phone call from the practice manager Amanda Agurto who explained that Nelson was an independent contractor and not a direct employee of Harlem Animal Hospital. Harlem Animal Hospital Is The Best. Period. Dr. Kiani runs her practice with peerless expertise, kindness and caring for both her four-legged patients and their two-legged parents. She has created an office-wide environment of nurturing and 24/7 attention to critical cases. Even on her days off, Dr. Kiani was checking in on my cat's condition as he neared the end of his life. She did everything and more for him -- and for me, allowing me to spend hours visiting him while he was in her hospital setting. I've consistently brought my cats to Harlem Animal Hospital since the opening. Dr's. Kiani, and Colon are kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. We are fortunate to have them in our community!
