“I recently had Lower East Side Handyman come through, and I’ve got to give credit where it’s due. David showed up right on time, which already says a lot if you’ve dealt with random no shows or delays around here. He came in with a calm, easygoing vibe, got straight to work, and didn’t waste a minute. In a city where everyone’s always rushing, it was refreshing to see someone take their time to actually do things the right way.

He fixed a leaky faucet that had been bugging me for weeks and then swapped out an old ceiling fan for a clean, simple light fixture. Watching him work, you could tell he knew his stuff / no guesswork, no mess left behind, and he even double checked everything before packing up. The whole thing felt smooth, like dealing with a neighbor who happens to really know what he’s doing.

What stood out most was how grounded he was. David wasn’t trying to upsell or act like he was doing me a huge favor. He just came in, handled business, and treated my space with respect. That kind of professionalism is rare in the city. I was in urgent need of a furniture assembly service that would also meet the requirements of my building by providing a certificate of insurance. Dave quickly provided me with the filled out COI and got me on the schedule with only a day’s notice. Both Roman and Joel, the technicians I worked with, were incredibly knowledgeable, courteous, and handled the assembly of my furniture and TV mounting with the utmost care and professionalism. The 2nd time around, he worked on my moms apartment for me. He re-painted the entire apartment, re-grouted all the tiles in the bathroom and kitchen, removed the popcorn ceiling from all the rooms and added track lights to the living room ceiling and removed and installed the blinds in the bedroom & ceiling.

He did a good job, his price was reasonable and he was very honest and transparent with me. No job seems too small or too big for Chris I will definitely be reaching out to him for future projects.“

Anyways, the fella who owns and manages JW Development, Johnathan Wood, (aka Johnny) & his staff, Jason & Charles, gave me a fantabulous paint job! As for the wall & ceiling cracks, now I have nice, smooth surfaces. I'm quite pleased w/the result, so pleased I tipped each of the gents $100 each.“
