“First of all, I want to give huge kudos to Valentina - I started reaching out to Overall Assembly in summer 2025 as I was looking for someone who could install an Ikea kitchen for me with more flexibility than the Ikea's contractors. Valentina always responded to me promptly and was always patient to answer my questions and provided me updated quotes (yes, I changed my kitchen plan many many times).
There are not many contractors who are experienced with Ikea kitchen or are willing to spend the time doing the assembly. I am personally a big fan of Ikea kitchen and wanted to have one for a long time. Denis and his team made my dream come true. My kitchen cabinets installation was not an easy job as I have 3 corners (which I did not use corner cabinets but rather blocked them), and one of the corner was an angled wall (so needed smart idea to do the filler). Denis was very patient with me even when I asked him to change something and then in the end, changed it back, which took more time from his schedule.
Finally, I have an Ikea kitchen which I love. Thank you Overall Assembly!

“I recently had Lower East Side Handyman come through, and I’ve got to give credit where it’s due. David showed up right on time, which already says a lot if you’ve dealt with random no shows or delays around here. He came in with a calm, easygoing vibe, got straight to work, and didn’t waste a minute. In a city where everyone’s always rushing, it was refreshing to see someone take their time to actually do things the right way.

He fixed a leaky faucet that had been bugging me for weeks and then swapped out an old ceiling fan for a clean, simple light fixture. Watching him work, you could tell he knew his stuff / no guesswork, no mess left behind, and he even double checked everything before packing up. The whole thing felt smooth, like dealing with a neighbor who happens to really know what he’s doing.

What stood out most was how grounded he was. David wasn’t trying to upsell or act like he was doing me a huge favor. He just came in, handled business, and treated my space with respect. and replaced the vanity in my bathroom.

The 2nd time around, he worked on my moms apartment for me. He re-painted the entire apartment, re-grouted all the tiles in the bathroom and kitchen, removed the popcorn ceiling from all the rooms and added track lights to the living room ceiling and removed and installed the blinds in the bedroom & ceiling.

He did a good job, his price was reasonable and he was very honest and transparent with me. No job seems too small or too big for Chris I will definitely be reaching out to him for future projects.“
