Equinox dropped a new policy starting March 11th, no more bikes, scooters, or anything big that doesn't fit in lockers. I picked Equinox because they were cool with bikes, which was awesome for my routine. But now, they've flipped to being bike-averse for some vague "safety concerns." Heard a rumor management didn't like the vibe with bikes around, which makes zero sense. Why cut off something healthy and green like biking? The club's alright overall. Got plenty of stuff to do, but they've got to step up their cleaning game. The men's locker rooms are a mess, always finding hair and dirt everywhere. I've seen the same pair of socks chilling in a locker for months. They only cleared it out after I complained. They really should do better. Just throwing this out there to help you figure if it's worth signing up.

I don't get the hate here, at all. Been a member since it was Reebok. The place is beautiful. The staff is friendly. The equipment is amazing and there are many options. My only issue is there is nobody in the locker room if you need something, or to make sure people are following the no cellphone rule. The locker rooms have a spa like feel until someone starts talking loudly and nonstop on their cellphone. Also, mirror has been broken and held up by tape for at least several weeks to a month which is pretty unacceptable for the price. They provide Kiehl's products which are great. I hadn't been there for several years between Covid and working remotely and it was a pleasure being back. I wish I could give 4.5 stars. It's not perfect but it's pretty close.

This used to be my favorite sports club. It felt like a country club. I have an executive locker room membership and it was worth it pre-pandemic. Upon returning: The fancy coffee maker in our locker room? Gone My washed clothes the following morning? Where? A good, clean shower? Not after I saw a flea or tick, called, waited and no one showed up. My friendly favorite folks in the locker room? Gone Membership price? To quote Cardi B, "If it's UP then it's UP " It's up. 5am opening? 5:30am Trust in taking care of my laundry? Nope. My shirt was NOT ripped upon arrival, during nor after my workout yet after it was washed it was ripped. I reported it. No one got back to me. I had to follow up days later with the nice man at the front desk. I was told by him via management that since the laundry bag wasn't ripped, the shirt wouldn't rip. But...it did. In the past when they screwed something up, they'd make good. This wasn't an expensive top. So add washing my own laundry that I pay them to do to the list or wear crap clothes and look bummy at a super fancy gym. I can't. The only reason I'm hanging on to this gym is because it's across from my job and my membership allows access to the newer facility closer to home.
