This is the best Pilates studio I’ve ever been to. BE is the first studio I ever tried for Pilates and for the time I was living on the UWS, Anthony’s 9 AM classes became a regular part of my weekly routine. He is a great instructor, knowledgeable and friendly, makes nice conversation but doesn’t just gab the whole time (a pet peeve in fitness classes). He takes the time to explain movements and correct form. I got into Pilates to help strengthen my upper back and BE and Anthony’s classes have certainly helped me make huge progress in that goal. Highly recommend!

I started my Pilates journey right here, at this very studio. Like, I took my first ever Pilates class at Body Evolution on W72nd. And I signed up without even knowing what Pilates was. My first instructor was Nikki, and I stuck mainly with her classes since they worked well for my schedule. But I have attended classes with other instructors on other occasions, and let me tell you that all of the instructors here are amazing. They each have their own personal style, but all of them give you a really good workout. Overall, a great studio. Clean with great instructors for a decent price, what else could you ask for? The only thing I don't love is that if you need to cancel, you need to do so at least 24 hours before the class, with no exceptions for emergencies. I've had legitimate emergencies where I tried to call and get a class credited back to my account, but unfortunately they wouldn't do it so I just had to forego the $30 class. That would be the only thing I would want--leniency for emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. But 5 stars for all the instructors. Definitely try out this studio, whether you're a Pilates veteran or a beginner looking to try something new!
