I went to East Side Ink on a friends recommendation and immediately felt like it was the right spot. Very warm and welcoming. I was getting my first tattoo, so this was important.
My artist was Jonah, and he couldn't have been nicer. He was patient, attentive, focused, and detail oriented. He knew it was my first tattoo, so he took extra measure to make sure everything was just right. He is kind, funny, and very talented. I really enjoyed the experience and was so happy that I chose East Side Ink. In terms of the finished piece, It's EXACTLY what I envisioned. I couldn't be more happy and grateful. I know I’m very late with this review considering my tattoo was done in Feb 2024… But I had to made sure I shared my experience at East Side Ink and with Mateo. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish and I am more than happy with my tattoo, it healed really well following the artists exact recommendations and to this day, a year and a some months later, the details of the tattoo are impeccable. Whenever I finally make my mind up for the several ideas I have for my next tat I will definitely be coming back here! (The before and after from day 1 to 1 year and 3 months later)
