First time in NY and the staff were so friendly throughout my experience at citystar. . Julia gave me a blowdry and was very welcoming and communicated with me about what I wanted. . It had a nice atmosphere and very reasonably priced! Thanks Julia!
This place is great. I got my hair colored by Kate and she was amazing at her job. Took her time and I really liked the end result. This salon is also pretty reasonable and well ventilated.
The only reason I am giving it 2 less stars is because of the person who washed my hair. He was so aggressive. It felt like I was on a rollercoaster ride because of how much he shook my head. He also finished washing my hair in less than 2 minutes but I had to get it rewashed because he left color in my scalp. I’ve never had someone wash my hair in such a rushed and aggressive manner. Surprising because it wasn’t like there were a lot of people. I didn’t feel relaxed at all.
Thank you to Anvar for his amazing work. My hair was red and then I dyed it black, but he was able to make me blonde without any damage at all! My hair feels so healthy and beautiful. I truly appreciate all his effort. Everyone who works there is so friendly and welcoming. I’m so happy I found this salon. I will definitely keep coming back!
