I don’t understand the bad reviews. I had a manicure and back massage here today - excellent and welcoming service, Monica was really precise and efficient with my nails, and it wasn’t expensive. Only reason I give 4 stars is that their range of regular nail polish is limited, which isn’t such a surprise since lots of folks do gel manicures now. Visit them! They’re good and they’re a local business. ❤️
I decided to try this place out after trying to do a walk-in at Coco Nails and them having an hour wait. When I got to Chic, it was literally empty, which had me wondering if the negative reviews were right. Gulp. I proceeded anyway, since my toes were busted and anything would be an improvement. There were several staff cleaning when I walked in, and though the furniture is a bit worn, the ambience is nice and it's spacious. I got a basic pedicure and the tech did a solid job, I can't complain. She took her time and gave me a quick shoulder massage as my nails dried. Depending on how well the pedi holds up, I think this may be my new spot! (Might update this if needed)
Very mediocre experience. They're not really friendly, kind of hostile. I went in for a pedicure, she barely put any effort--it was the fastest pedicure I ever had. No hot oil for the heels, spent like 30 sec scrubbing, they also don't massage your feet. Everything was half-assed. She charged $10 to remove gel off my toes that was basically almost gone, all she really did was file the remaining off. When I paid and gave a small tip, there was no thank you, no goodbye. Would not come back.
