It was great to return to Bohemian Soul. I hadn't been there since 2021. Easy to book. The stylist was on time. The salon is impeccable. And my twists look great. Five stars.

I got a wash, condition, trim, and natural hair twist. I'm very happy with how it turned out, and the speed at which my hair was done! I was out of there 1.5 hours earlier than I'd estimated (been to many other salons so I know what's up lol)I'll be back ?

I don't leave reviews much and the ironic thing about this post is that during our session conversation. She definitely encourage me to leave reviews when the service was not up to par. I'm new to the New York area, and I was looking for natural hair salon to help me with my hair, so I just took a chance. My advice if you've never been there before, and you have not experienced her work, I wouldn't go. It seems clear that she is not invested in making sure you look presentable. I paid $170 for mini twists that just cannot be worn on a daily basis because they do not look good. I honestly just felt like with her having so much experience. Demtra would've recommended a better style then that. And styled it a little better, even people who don't know much about hair was able to look at my hair and see a lack of effort. And that there could have been a better style for me. We go to hairstyles because we think they are able to help us . I was just so shocked that she let me leave with that hairstyle. I basically wasted 170 dollars and my hair is not done.

I had my 1st appointment at Bohemian Soul today and it was amazing. The aesthetic of the salon is vibrant and welcoming.The price of the services are also very reasonable.My services included a wash, treatment, trim and medium two strand twist. Deitra gave me a friendly and warm welcome to her salon. Her energy made me feel completely at ease and I instantly knew I would be in good hands. Dietra was gentle and precise which resulted in my beyond satisfaction of the finished style. I was nervous I would leave with much of my hair chopped off but Dietra trimmed my hair which left me with length retention. I would gladly recommend Bohemian Soul.Service: Hairstyling
