Blind Barber has a really cool setup, definitely one of the better speakeasy vibes around. The smokey carajillo was tasty, but light on the alcohol. Music was great and louder than most speakeasies, and by the end of the night the place basically turned into a nightclub. Fun energy overall.

A friend of mine had looked for a unique speakeasy and found this spot at the back of this barbershop a good while ago. From what I am aware, reservations were pretty easy at least during a weekday. The lighting inside is not too bright and not too dark and pretty good for photos. The bartender was friendly and they gave a good recommendation. When we went, they weren't super crowded and honestly I could see this spot as a fun date place. Apparently, the Strawberry Fields is the most popular drink here and the other person had it and loved it but I wasn't a huge fan of the ingredients in said cocktail so I didn't bother. I would mention the cocktail I had but as this was months ago, I don't exactly remember most of the details as this was one of the seasonal cocktails. I believe the cocktail's base was beer along with a little bit of fruitiness along with some type of amaro (I think Montenegro or Avena) as well as some other type of liqueur. The drink was in short a shandy but on the more bitter end and was around $17 or so and was worth it. Would go back to try more drinks.

The actual venue I walked right past it lol. That truly makes for a great speakeasy right? It really is pretty inconspicuous if you're not paying attention. The blind barber is actually a barber shop for real, but cross functions as a speakeasy.

The images speak for themselves. It is such a cool atmosphere and great time once you get past the barber shop ;)
