Barber Shop on Second Ave is a small, friendly barber shop in the Lower East Side. The barbers provide quick, quality haircuts with great care and attention. The atmosphere is fun, with HDTV playing movies, and the prices are reasonable. With three skilled barbers, clients leave feeling satisfied with their hair looking great.
I have been coming here for four years, and I plan to keep coming back for many more. I’ve gotten haircuts from each of the barbers. With a medley of different personalities, from gregarious to courteous, they are consistent, affordable, and always make my hair look great, for work, for weddings, for whatever life has brought. They make me look good and feel great.
I may just have been lucky, but I have never needed to make an appointment; when walking in, I’ve only ever waited a maximum of ten minutes.

Started taking my 7 year old son here a few months ago, and we now come here regularly for his haircut because they’re THAT good! They’re so patient with him and they cater to his needs. I’m so happy I found this barber shop for him, I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend it! They’re very talented barbers and the prices are great!!

After getting a professional haircut I wasn’t happy with at a salon a month ago, I ended up making it worse when I tried to cut it myself. That's when I realized I needed to see someone who could undo the mess I’d created. I happened to see a TikTok video about someone’s experience at Second Avenue Barbers and the guy in the video had wavy-curly hair similar to mine, which convinced me to check the place out.
