Had one of the worst experiences here. Owner/cashier REFUSED TO GIVE ME A BAG for the two trousers I had altered there. He was YELLING at me that it wasn’t a shop, it’s a dry cleaner and he DIDN’T have any bags, even though there were paper bags with handles for laundered shirts all over the floor. Seamstress was sitting right there and said and did nothing. Unbelievable!!!

This seamstress is HORRIBLE. I asked her to change a hemline of a dress so it was simply a straight across hem. Also the side had slits up them, and I wanted her to close the sides. I got the dress back with a hem that was LONGER on the sides (what!?) and tacked with one little stitch on the sides. She charged me $65 for the botched job. It was a bridesmaid dress and I had to get it fixed once I flew to CA. The seamstress in San Diego who fixed the dress said it was the worst tailor job she has seen. Once I was back in NYC, i tried to get a refund, but they refused to pay me in full since they needed to SEE the dress in person, not just pictures (I had about 20)...read full review
