“Finding a stylist who can achieve a bright, beautiful blonde without completely destroying your hair texture is nearly impossible, but Maria Camaj at Salon Camaj is a literal miracle worker. She has been doing my hair for years and my hair is a stunning, seamless blonde and it feels incredibly soft and healthy. Not to mention that the hair cuts and blow outs are seamless! She is literally the queen of hair. It is so hard to find one stylist who is excellent at everything. I kid you not she really is! The rest of her staff is highly skilled as well. When she was on vacation or out on maternity leave, I have been able to trust her other stylists who are also amazing!!!

“Veronica, the owner of this salon, is a master of the craft of hairstyling. I discovered because her shop is a stone’s throw away from the New Rochelle Public Library. I moved to New Rochelle last year and I believe in supporting local businesses. What drew me to her window were the beautiful plants. She clearly has a green thumb. My first experience was near Christmas time of last year and the window was also enhanced by a Nativity scene. She colored my full head of hair with honey highlights— I have never had that done before— always only highlights on the front, and I get many compliments on what she did. She cuts hair with precision. She’s got great treatments for both in the shop and to purchase for your home. And her hands— when she washes your hair, it is better than a spa.“
