I saw Bob a few months ago after a friend, while out on a trip in San Francisco, recommended I look into neuromuscular massage therapy for excruciating neck/shoulder pain I was experiencing. I had been going to a physical therapist but it wasn't making an impact or at least not as quickly as I hoped. This was my first time having this type of massage and WOW, it was impressive. I think everybody should experience this. I intended on going for a second session, if needed, but the pain was virtually gone! As a last-ditch effort to avoid surgery for Dequervain’s Tenosynovitis, I searched for an orthopedic/sports massage therapist - and was thrilled to find Bob Holzman nearby, with glowing reviews (and I read them all).I was impressed by Bob's thoroughness before he even accepted my first appointment request, because he asked very specific questions to understand my current situation and previous healing attempts. He admitted that while he hadn't treated my specific condition before, he had plenty of experience with tendonitis/tendonosis, and thought we had a good chance of success.I'm pleased to report that after just a few targeted massage sessions, I've improved enough...read full review

Bob came highly recommended to our family when our 15 year old son Emanuel suffered two self sustained soft tissue injuries in soccer while abroad in Spain and Germany at games and tryouts. We were able to put together with Bob’s “recommendation” a comprehensive team of experienced and knowledgeable experts to get our son again strong and healthy back on the pitch. Bob’s knowledge and the way he approaches the body was a perfect combination of years of experience and talent in the healing arts. Bob is a gifted healer indeed and his bodywork was pretty amazing when dealing with our young sons sport related injury. Mission accomplished. YES!!!??Thank you Bob.
