After 8 years following having a child, I was still having back pain and a split diastisis. I felt wrecked, and had paralyzing back pain getting out of bed. Engaging my core alone, literally was impossible. Exercising in any way, would also cause further pain without my core to support! Everything was out of alignment.Finding Precision Pilates was a relief! The staff welcomed me with a solution that fit my schedule and my needs. Most importantly, the Joseph Pilates technique is authentic, which I value as a former professional dancer and trainer. UPDATE: It's been almost 3 months and I'm about 40 classes in already- yes I love how pilates makes me feel so I've been going regularly. Today I did my first workshop "Magic Circle" and it was so much fun! Plus I learned simple exercises with a small piece of equipment I can easily use at home. I'm even looking 'better', according to people I work with... They want to know what I'm doing that not only am I looking better but have notably more energy. Just pilates with Amy, now if I could only find the willpower to diet I'm sure I'd be even 'more better' :)--------So, I'm not really a review writer but I have to tell you guys...
