I went for a pant leg alteration. She's a nice lady. However, she didn't get things done by the pickup date and didn't let me know until I went over to pick it up. She said she'd give me a discount because of things being late, but still charged me full price when I went back to pick it up. It wasn't a good job either as the old hem wasn't even cut, was very loosely sewn, and is now unraveling.
We called Mona Lisa Tailoring on a Wednesday. Explaining we needed a rush alteration on a wedding gown. FOR FRIDAY MORNING. She took a deep breath and invited us to come right away. Once there, we explained a bit of what happened and she was in. She hemmed the gown. She added the cups. She steamed and fluffed the gown and slip.... and on Friday Morning we had the most perfectly altered bridal gown for a 130 pm bridal dressing!!!!! We are so lucky it is the off season. She has always been a great local treasure for proms and weddings. But to be willing to work with us at that speed was a gift. Pressed. Stitched. Perfect.
My grandmother passed away and my grandfather needed his pants altered ASAP. I called and was told to bring him in as soon as possible. The woman was very accommodating and very good with my 90-year-old grandfather. I picked up the pants early the next morning and they were perfect. Thanks again!Service: Alterations
