“My hot water tank failed this past Tuesday evening while I have a summer tenant. I called my regular plumber Wednesday morning first thing and they would be unable to come until Friday at the earliest, which was certainly not going to work for my tenant. Montauk Plumbing & Heating was recommended to me by my plumber and I called at 9:15 Wednesday am. The office was very responsive, treated this as an emergency and was at my house within the hour. I was hoping it was going to be a heating element that needed to be replaced but that was not the case. They sent pictures of the corrosion inside of my tank and it was obvious that I needed a replacement. John the owner worked with me over multiple conversations as to my options and what he recommended. The new tank was ordered and delivered to their warehouse the same night and installed Thursday am starting at 8:45 am.
