“I got results on my physical therapy challenge when I went to Dr Rob that I couldn’t get it anywhere else.
I had tried traditional “cookie cutter” PT offices, but they weren’t oriented towards athletes with high expectations and challenging goals. I specifically started looking for a PT that focused on endurance athletes because I had somethings in common with them.
Dr Rob’s hands on approach ensured I had a good balance of manipulation to find muscular problems, release them and identify weaknesses that needed to be rectified. His in office and at home exercises are HARD, but as an athlete, they are effective and were incredibly helpful in waking up muscles that were asleep.
Additionally, Dr Rob is very curious and welcomed all of my texts and emails where I detailed my status, observations and progress. He welcomed my participation and questions.

“In October 2024, I was referred to Jeff Corben of Motion Sports Medicine in Westbury for physical therapy on my right knee, which had sustained a meniscal tear. Immediately, Jeff showed concern for my injury and the treatment I was to receive. He took great care and support in the pain I was experiencing, and worked with me through various leg strengthening exercises for both knees, not just the injured knee. I also received electrical stimulation, which also greatly assisted in the therapy.

When surgery was highly recommended by my orthopedist, Jeff continued to ensure that I receive the proper treatment in preparation for surgery, strengthening both legs. Post-surgery, I was unable to bend my knee. After a couple of PT sessions with Jeff, I was able to bend my knee and felt extremely comfortable doing so, despite the post-surgery pain. Jeff was the one who advised how I should care for the surgical incisions. I continue to work with Jeff twice a week and feel the PT has really helped in my rehabilitation. I have also worked with Chris Kalinoglu at this location, who has also ensured I receive the appropriate care and support. I could not be happier with my progress. Both Jeff and Chris are extremely compassionate, pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. It is a very busy place, and all patients are given the care, therapy and attention they need. Busy is a good thing! The therapy center is also extremely clean, and the staff is very pleasant. Their hours are very convenient also. As well, Dan has the extra it takes above and beyond PT and what insurance is willing to offer...and his prices are reasonable - because his goal is to help us and heal us. K-Laser, Stem Cell treatments, machines that open the vertibrae. Iv'e been to at least 8 PT's...once i found Dan, I stayed there.
