Mike is a super reliable guy. Gets the job done quickly at a fair price. Don't hesitate to use them for any job. He's been a fixture in the area for decades. I had him do a huge driveway for me and he completed it in a timely manner at the right price just in time for the snow season.

First time going to Mike's for firewood. Easy to schedule a delivery on a holiday weekend. They came promptly and delivered a very healthy amount for the 2 cords I paid for. He put it where I asked which I appreciated. I used a moisture meter on some of the pieces and found much was at or below the 20% moisture level recommended for wood stoves. Nice hard wood. Not a lot of bark. It's been hard to figure out how to light it (small pieces and kindling help) because it's so dense. That's said, I'm happy.

Have bought firewood from Mikes frequently over the last 10 Years. This year they scheduled delivery for "tomorrow" but then called to say they could do it today in 30 min if we would be there. We were, they did and as always the wood was just right. They dumped it (from a dump truck) right where we asked (some years we paid extra for them to stack it). Their wood has always been nicely aged to burn well but this year's is especially good. VERY well aged, split to a good size for a home fireplace. Our fires are sooo good that we do them even when there's not a lot of time to enjoy because it starts easily and burns perfectly. Thanks Mike!
