“Where should I start!I injured my wrist doing strenuous yard work....aka hammering a few edge protectors into the ground around a few trees. Actually went to bed fine, but woke up the next morning in extreme pain as if I dislocated // strained it overnight.Three months prior to starting my acupuncture treatment with this facility I went to a specialist (for wrist) and a general Dr. Both of which gave me a one solve type of solution (cortisone shots) along with a brace for my wrist. I denied the shots. Took the brace, but the brace didn't work, it was not comfortable and it only hurt more after I would sleep with it on. Called around via a list given to me by my insurance company for local acupuncture specialist, at first I was a bit reluctant, due to having a specialist before for a different injury (got successful treatment) and thus gained an immense amount of trust for him and his treatment, so going to a new facility wasn't so pleasing of an idea, but I gave it a shot. Dr. Sholomo educated me on his familiarity with the issue and noted we'll try a few options, electro stimulation, along with targeted acupuncture points. First couple of weeks I felt slight pain, but this was good, as prior I didn't feel anything in my wrist and it had became stiff, so stiff, I couldn't move my wrist at all (I couldn't bend from my thumb towards my pinky). I was not discouraged, I kept going because this was progress. Five weeks // treatment later, I felt way better than when I first went in. No more pain, 100% flexibility back and usage of my hand and wrist again.Well worth the time invested, and the entire time I felt safe and taken care of.“
